Show Stoppers

A combination of Lucy and Cora's absolute love for singing, dancing, and climbing have set the scene for performing on stage to be a popular pastime at our house as of late. The girls both love to climb on any piece of furniture, while holding any instrument which they feel adequate to use as a microphone, and put on a performance for their audience, although they are content to perform for no one at all as well. Mommy has compromised with them and they have become happy with a blanket laid out on they floor as their stage while inside, rather than the unsafe choice of furniture climbing.

Here, the girls are on one of their outdoor stages. Lucy is performing in the background while Cora asks for her ball, then realizes she better join in on the performing.

Every good performer knows when it's time to sit and rest.

After performing, Cora showed off one of her many talents of finding tiny treasures that Mommy and Daddy would rather her not find.

A break in from the hot weather meant a visit to the zoo again. It was so amazing to see how much more interactive and interested the girls were this time. They were SOO excited about it all.

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

Their mama's daughers, Cora and Lucy are completely obsessed with pandas ("pambas") these days. As an AOII, Mama has lots of pandas that we play with and talk about at home, so you can imagine how incredible it was to be near the real life thing!

Lucy told everyone who walked up, "Pamba!"
